CFP Board Hires Jason Ruimerman as Director of Business Development
Brings Nearly 15 Years of Experience in Financial Services Industry to Organization
WASHINGTON, Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) announced today that it has hired Jason F. Ruimerman as Director of Business Development, a critical position to help the organization strengthen and enhance its connections within the financial services industry.
The Director of Business Development's responsibilities include serving as a key contact for top financial planning officers in large financial service firms. This position is vitally important to increasing top financial service firm preference for and investment in CFP® certification as well as CFP® certificant training and development.

Ruimerman comes to CFP Board after a 10-year career at Van Kampen Investments Management where he focused on training and educating the financial planner community. While at Van Kampen, he created strategic partnerships with firms while gaining market share in his Northeast territory. Previously, Ruimerman was part of MFS Investment Management in Boston. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
