LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

A year ago, at the DECT Forum in Barcelona, Sagemcom had already launched two CAT-iq 2.0 certified phones: the D47 and D68, offering the benefits of cordless telephony with CAT-iq 2.0-standard quality of service.
Their sound quality is due in particular to the components especially selected by Sagemcom (mic, speakers, etc.). Operating on an expanded frequency band of 50 Hz - 7 kHz (compared to the classic telephony waveband of 300 Hz - 3400 Hz), they guarantee HD voice quality for all types of communication: Wide Band, Narrow Band, in both handset and hands-free mode.
Sagemcom has also just announced that it has obtained CAT-iq 2.0 certification in the United States for marketing there too its multi-service, HD-voice DECT IP phones.
"Obtaining this new certification for our DECT phones marketed in Europe underscores our commitment to offer innovative technological VoIP solutions. Our products are already equipped to provide end-to-end HD sound quality in interface mode between all the smart objects in the connected home (residential phones, cellphones, routers, etc.)," states Ahmed Selmani, Deputy CEO of Sagemcom Broadband SAS.
