Security Professionals Have Opportunity to Experience Real-World Implementation Firsthand

Held at the implementation site of the most sophisticated, commercially viable platforms for single-credential systems, the open house will showcase how one company manages physical and logical access via their visitor's own organization-issued credentials -- in a real-world setting.
Funded in part by the General Services Administration, which operates the U.S. Federal Bridge for inter-agency information sharing, CertiPath was tapped to design and oversee the implementation of a system that could overcome today's fragmented, expensive and vulnerable approaches to managing physical and logical identity authentication and access control. Companies participating in the initiative include BridgePoint Systems, CoreStreet (an ActivIdentity company), TrustBearer and Veridt.
The event, slated for 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 2, 2010, is open to those responsible for physical security and information security in government organizations and companies that do business with government agencies. Registration is required; to register please visit: http://www.acteva.com/booking.cfm?bevaid=195470. For more information about the event, contact Alison Kidd at [email protected] or (703) 793-7871.
