Certified Exit Planning Advisor Program Recognized by Leading Professional Associations
CHICAGO, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Certified Exit Planning Advisor Program (CEPA) offered by the Exit Planning Institute® now qualifies for continuing professional education credits with four major professional associations. This makes the CEPA program the most widely accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world.
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy recently announced that it will grant 32.5 hours of continuing professional education credit to accountants and CPAs who attend the CEPA program.
In addition, the Certified Financial Planning Board announced that Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) may receive up to 17 hours of continuing professional education credit by attending the CEPA program.
The International Association of Business Brokers, with over 1,500 members, announced that Certified Business Intermediaries (CBIs) may receive up to 10 hours of continuing education credit by attending the CEPA program.
Finally, the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors, with almost 1,000 members, announced that it will grant 24 hours of continuing education credit for Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisors who attend the CEPA program.
The CEPA program is a five-day executive MBA-style program that provides an in-depth introduction and training in the field of exit planning. The program is taught by industry experts using a combination of lectures, discussions, group exercise and case studies. Participants may earn the Certified Exit Planning Advisor credential by completing the program and passing a 3.5 hour proctored, closed book exam. The program is held at the Gleacher Center at the University of Chicago's Booth Graduate School of Business.
