Centrify Completes Profitable Fiscal Year With Second-Consecutive Year of Record Sales and Accelerated Growth
All-organic sales grew a record 75 percent over FY2010; largest market share in industry segment grows to top 3,500 paying customers
SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Centrify Corporation, the leading provider of security and compliance solutions that centrally control, secure and audit cross-platform systems and applications using Active Directory, today announced that its fiscal year ending June 30 saw the company post record total revenue and record sales growth of approximately 75 percent over the prior fiscal year, and hit record profitability for the fiscal year. Centrify's record revenue comes a year after posting previous record sales growth of approximately 50 percent over FY2009.
In addition, the company was cash-flow positive for the fiscal year, and grew its enterprise customer installed base by more than 1,000 to a total of more than 3,500 customers, the largest market share in the industry. The company's employee base grew by 60 percent over FY2010 as it expanded to meet the rapidly growing industry demand for its security and compliance solutions.

In addition to reaching significant records on the revenue, customer and growth fronts, Centrify also achieved the following milestones during FY2011:
- Centrify introduced the next generation of its solution set, Centrify Suite 2011, with enhanced administration and privilege management capabilities for UNIX/Linux/Mac systems, expanded platform coverage, and additional application single sign-on capabilities. Centrify also released CloudTools, which lets organizations dynamically apply Active Directory-based authentication and access control to Linux systems running within cloud hosting providers such as Amazon EC2 and the RightScale Cloud Management Platform. The company also launched Centrify Express, a set of free software applications and tools, content resources, and community forums to help organizations improve security and compliance of data center and desktop systems.
- Centrify entered into significant partnerships, including with Splunk to increase operational intelligence for IT security and compliance; Canonical to distribute Centrify Express through its Ubuntu Software Partner Repository; immixGroup to provide Centrify products to the government via immixGroup's GSA schedule and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV contract; and FishNet Security to deliver Centrify solutions, support, and related professional services from all of their offices throughout North America. Centrify also entered into a protocol and patent agreement with Microsoft.
- On the industry recognition front, Centrify earned gold medal "2010 Community Choice Awards" honors for the Best Interoperability Product by Windows IT Pro magazine; a 5-star rating from SC Magazine following a competitive labs review; and the Best Identity Management Award from the Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA); among others.
