NEW YORK, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- CENTRIC brings its viewers the provocative and informative documentary, BECOMING BARACK slated to premiere on President's Day, Monday, February 15 at 8:00 P.M.* The CENTRIC special offers an intimate look at Barack Obama, and chronicles his early years from Chicago's South Side, providing a personal glimpse into the leader who would eventually become the nation's 44th President, and the nation's first African-American President.

BECOMING BARACK includes rarely seen archival footage of Barack Obama, including a 1986 WMAQ-Chicago news story detailing Obama's success as a local community activist; a 1990 news clip after he's elected president of the Harvard Law Review; and a 1993 "lost" interview clip- all of which document the remarkable legacy of our nation's President. The one-hour documentary will re-air on CENTRIC on Sunday, February 21 at 12:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M., and was executive produced by Stuart A. Goldman of Stuart Goldman Co. and Michael B. Sutton, President & CEO of Little Dizzy Home Video and Records.
