CENTRI Appoints Grant Asplund as Vice President of Sales and Business Development From Blue Coat Systems

SEATTLE, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CENTRI, a provider of enterprise data protection solutions, today announced that the company is expanding its executive leadership team with the appointment of Grant Asplund as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Asplund will be responsible for the company's global enterprise sales and channel strategies.  Mr. Asplund brings over 30 years of experience as a sales executive, technology evangelist and market builder in the enterprise security software industry.

Prior to joining CENTRI, Mr. Asplund was Director of Evangelism for Blue Coat Systems, Inc. for several years and most recently was named Account Manager, where he managed several fortune 1000 accounts. Prior to that he was Head of Market Development and Sales for Altor Networks which was acquired by Juniper Networks. Before joining Altor Networks, he was Vice President, Enterprise Sales for Neustar. Earlier, he was president and CEO of MetaInfo and successfully sold the company to Neustar. Mr. Asplund was the worldwide Senior Product Evangelist for Check Point, which he joined after the company acquired MetaInfo in 1998.
