Centre Consulting, Inc. Announces First CSCM Graduate

VIENNA, Va., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Centre Consulting and its Federal Contracting Institute are proud to announce that Michelle A. Huffman is the first CSCM graduate. The Certified Schedules Contract Managers (CSCM) credential certifies the recipient as an expert in Federal Supply and Multiple Award Schedule contracting.  Ms. Huffman is a Contracts Administrator at iGov, located in McLean, Va.

She emphasizes, "Government contracting covers a vast arena; it is important that there are benchmarks for knowledge.  The CSCM certificate achieves that validation for GSA Schedule contracting."

The CSCM certificate program is a joint program between Centre and the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).  Applicants must register on the NCMA website and complete a course curriculum on GSA and VA Schedules, Task Order and IDIQ contracting and get a passing grade on the CSCM test.   The CSCM designation is valid for two years, after which the CSCM must attend a one-day Annual Update or two equivalent events.
