COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Central and Southern Ohio chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (CSOHIMSS), has announced its Spring conference titled The Zen of Healthcare Disruption 2017!" It will be held on Friday, May 12th, 2017 at Conference Center at OCLC, 6600 Kilgour Place, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
The conference will be a wide-ranging overview of key issues affecting healthcare IT in 2017, from the recent past to where we are heading and beyond.
Keynote sessions will focus on Disruptive Technologies with speakers from IBM Watson Health and Amazon Web Services. Breakout sessions throughout the day will provide attendees with a full menu of topics, including tele-health, medical device security, EMR at the Bedside, and e-visits to name a few.
The day will conclude with a panel discussion on disruptive technologies from leaders across our region and beyond. The conference will feature participants from the UC Health, Ohio Health, Premier Health Partners, Cisco, Wood County Hospital, MMY Consulting, Secure State and Cardinal Health to name a few.
