CentraComm Named to CRN Fast Growth 100 for Fifth Consecutive Year
One of Six National Solutions Providers Honored for Five Years on the List
FINDLAY, Ohio, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CentraComm, a leading IT managed security and networking services company, was recently listed on the CRN Fast Growth 100 list for a fifth consecutive year. CRN Fast Growth 100 is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing IT solutions providers. CentraComm was one of only two Ohio companies on the list ranking #59 with a 50.40 percent revenue growth rate between 2007 and 2009.
The Ohio company will receive a special award for being one of only six companies in nation that have made the list for five consecutive years. CentraComm also earned Fast Growth recognition in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. In addition to five years on the CRN Fast Growth 100 list, CentraComm has been ranked on the INC 5000 list, ranking the faster growing private companies, each of the past four years.
The Ohio-based company operates throughout the Great Lakes while managing networks around the globe. It has staff based in Findlay, Toledo, Sandusky, Cleveland, Columbus and Grand Rapids, Mich.
CentraComm is an industry-leading managed service provider originally formed in 2001 as an Internet Service Provider (ISP). CentraComm offers routing-switching-security expertise with seasoned, certified engineers, carrier-class data centers, a strong focus on customer service and best-of-breed solutions.
"Our continuing growth and industry recognition validates our strategy of equipping the brightest minds in network security with the best products and training, allowing us to provide our customers with the most robust, comprehensive and sophisticated network solutions available," said Daniel Bemis, CentraComm's Chief Executive Officer. "Evolving from our ISP roots has put us in a position to offer more customer driven solutions in the emerging areas of Cloud Security building on our SaaS (software as a service) infrastructure."
"CentraComm offers the highest levels of protection to our customers at a lower total cost of ownership---our new cloud-based SIEM (security information and event management) offering is the most recent example of our ability to make high-performance security affordable," added Bemis.
CRN's Fast Growth companies are a resilient bunch. The measuring stick used for the ranking was a company's average percent of revenue growth between 2007 and 2009 -- years representing the recession. Posting revenue growth of any sort is something to be proud of in the shadows of a recession. But the companies on CRN's Fast Growth 100 list have experienced phenomenal increases in revenue -- 20 percent or more. Getting there is a combination of hard work and an ability to truly understand customers' needs.
"The Fast Growth 100 are channel innovators and mavericks who are growing in considerable size and influence. As business-oriented IT consultants, these organizations work closely with customers to identify multivendor IT solutions to solve their business problems. We congratulate CentraComm on their well-earned success despite current economic conditions," said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director for Everything Channel.
The Fast Growth 100 rank is based on two years' growth of net sales from calendar year 2007 to calendar year 2009. Net sales were verified by public filings when possible. All private companies provided a signed affidavit attesting to the accuracy of the reported 2007 and 2009 net sales figures or accountant-reviewed financials or audited financials. Affidavits were signed by an owner or officer of the company or by a CPA representing the company. Affidavits and financials are on file in Manhasset, NY.
