Leading hospitality provider to introduce custom culinary creations for grand opening.
STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the leading hospitality provider to North America's premier sports stadiums and convention centers, celebrated the opening of Louisville, Kentucky's new state-of-the-art arena, the KFC Yum! Center, with the announcement today of a series of new menu items designed specifically for Louisville fans and guests.

"Executive Chef Kavanaugh's unique crowd-pleasing items will give Louisville fans one more reason to cheer at the new KFC Yum! Featured menu items include:
- Ale-8-One Beef Burgoo Poutine: a dish of hearty homemade hand-cut double-fried French Fries topped with a rich beef burgoo and fresh cheese curds;
- Fried Hot Brown Bites: a fast favorite snack made with Boar's Head turkey, local bacon, and Mornay sauce—lightly breaded, fried, and served with roast tomato jam;
- Fresh Crepes will be available for those in search of a sweet or savory change of pace. Made-to-order, fillings include: chicken, spinach, mushrooms and cheese; spinach, mushrooms and cheese; chicken, Swiss cheese, and ham; bourbon-caramel apple; banana and Nutella; and strawberry and Nutella.
- For lighter—but no less flavorful—fare, the Centerplate menu also offers diners healthy and locally-farmed products, including grilled flatbread Chop Chop salads, pitas and wraps. Fans can create custom dishes from local and seasonal "Kentucky-Proud Produce."
The opening comes on the heels of other new Centerplate venue openings and transitions, including the Baltimore Convention Center, Detroit's Cobo Convention Center, the new Lake County Stadium in Zion, Illinois and the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
