Hospitality Leader wraps up Annual Meeting on a high note
STAMFORD, Conn., March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the nation's largest hospitality partner to North America's premier convention centers, sports stadiums and entertainment venues, held its 2012 Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Canada the week of February 27th. The theme of the meeting "Step Ahead" reflected the company's commitment to client success for 2012; during the event, all of the firm's general managers were encouraged to leverage Centerplate's unique position and strategic approach to hospitality to take their clients' brands and businesses to new heights in 2012.
The meeting also featured a line-up of notable guest speakers including AG Spanos – Executive Vice President of the San Diego Chargers, David Harr – Associate Vice President of the University of Notre Dame, Kevin Davis – Chief Executive Officer and President of Bauer Hockey, Chris Bigelow – President of Bigelow Companies, Peggy Daidakis – Executive Director of the Baltimore Convention Center, and Ken Cretney – General Manager of the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Recipient: Judith Goodkin, General Manager, Allstream Centre, Toronto, Canada, won the esteemed award for her leadership in increasing sales on behalf of her clients in excess of 41% over prior year.
Vendor Partner of the Year
Recipient: E&J Gallo Winery
