Centerplate Shifts into High Gear, Serving 50,000 Fans for Grand Prix of Baltimore
Centerplate to delight fans at the Andretti Club, other venues, Aug. 31st through Sept. 1
BALTIMORE, Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As excitement builds for the Baltimore Grand Prix, Centerplate, the leading hospitality provider to North America's premier events, stadiums and convention centers, unveiled today its hospitality plans for the highly anticipated race. As event hospitality partner to the Grand Prix, Centerplate, anticipates serving over 50,000 fans over the race weekend, utilizing its award winning team at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The Baltimore Grand Prix will encompass a 2-mile temporary street circuit traveling through the heart of Baltimore's Downtown, racing past the scenic Inner Harbor and around the Baltimore Convention Center. The race weekend will feature a blend of world-class racing and entertainment, highlighted by the American Le Mans Series Race on Saturday and the IZOD IndyCar Series Race on Sunday.
For this special event, Centerplate has created tailored menus for race fans as well as associated private events including the premium Andretti Club. Notably, Centerplate has developed an expansive menu featuring traditional favorites and the authentic flavors of the Mid-Atlantic region including:
- Carving station- including Steamship Round served with Horseradish Sauce and Stoneground Mustard Aoili
- Sage and Rosemary Rubbed Tom Turkey served with Cranberry Aoili Dijon Mustard and Mayonnaise
- Maryland Lump Crab Cakes
