Centerplate Opens 'Detroit Made Kitchen' At Cobo Center
Exciting food concepts featuring local, healthy and natural options
DETROIT, Jan. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Guests at the Cobo Center in Detroit will soon be treated to a redesigned and reenergized hospitality concept, Detroit Made Kitchen, thanks to event hospitality partner Centerplate. With the newly-designed kitchens and concepts in place in time for the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Cobo Center will be going natural, with more fresh offerings, gluten-free foods, fresh vegetables, and more healthier-for-you options than ever before in its retail dining space.
Committed to reinforcing Cobo as one of the premier meeting destinations in the United States, Centerplate will continue to improve the guest hospitality experience by replacing and redesigning the Center's grab-and-go dining options. The new hospitality location will serve breakfast, lunch and snacks to convention guests during shows and events.

Highlighting menus at the Cobo Center are local, healthy, and natural ingredients. The food and beverage offerings will be sourced from well-known suppliers specializing in natural products. All items will be made fresh daily and to the greatest extent possible, produce will be sourced locally. Menus include:

- Detroit Made Burgers featuring Michigan grass-fed beef
