Centerplate Hosts 550 Guests for Mariners Hall of Fame Luncheon
Mariners Greats Randy Johnson and Dan Wilson Inducted
SEATTLE, July 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A force of nature on the mound, Mariners great Randy Johnson was known simply as the "Big Unit." Today, Centerplate proudly provided the hospitality for the "Big Unit's" big day as Johnson and former Mariners stand out Dan Wilson were inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame. A luncheon featuring the two inductees, plus other members of the Mariners Hall of Fame, was open to the public today and drew five hundred and fifty fans. For Centerplate, hospitality partner to the Seattle Mariners, it was a point of great pride to be invited to host the Hall of Fame luncheon.

Other attending Mariners Hall of Fame members included Alvin Davis, and Edgar Martinez. There were also several videotaped messages from former players and teammates. Held in the outfield at Safeco Field, the lunch featured an Italian-themed menu created especially for the event by Centerplate chefs.
Johnson and Wilson will be officially inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame during a pre-game ceremony Saturday, July 28th.
