Centering Healthcare Institute Announces Jacquie Anderson as COO
BOSTON, June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI) today announced that Jacquie Anderson will be joining the organization as Chief Operating Officer. Jacquie brings over 20 years of strategic management experience and a deep commitment to social justice.
Over the course of her career, Jacquie has developed expertise in organizational development, grant making, strategic planning, program development, program management, community organizing and health advocacy. Her past work as a social worker and community development worker emphasized support for and strengthening of families through individual and group processes.

Jacquie Anderson was the Chief Operating Officer for Community Catalyst and the past Deputy Director for Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Consumer Voices for Coverage Initiative. She has also worked with the Southern Health Partners Initiative, Community Catalyst's effort to build the capacity of health advocates in 12 southeastern states. She holds bachelor degrees from the University of Manitoba and the University of Windsor and a master's degree from the University of Toronto.
CHI is improving health by transforming care through Centering groups. It has developed and sustained the Centering model in more than 470 practice sites and in some of the largest health systems. The combination of health assessment, interactive activities and community building allows learning from the provider and from one another.
