Centene Corporation Announces Three Executive Appointments
ST. LOUIS, Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) today announced the appointments of Brandy Burkhalter, Cary Hobbs and Holly Benson to the position of Executive Vice President, effective immediately.
Ms. Burkhalter joined Centene in 2006 and oversees the audit and risk management functions for Centene, including enterprise risk management, internal audit, claims audit, compliance and implementation monitoring. Previously, Ms. Burkhalter served as Senior Vice President of Finance for our Specialty Services segment.
Centene also announced the appointment of Cary Hobbs to Executive Vice President. Ms. Hobbs has been with Centene for over 18 years. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff, whose responsibilities include Office of the Chief of Staff Initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility, P&L management, and national and international Business Development and Integration projects for the company.
Centene further announced the appointment of Holly Benson to Executive Vice President. Ms. Benson joined Centene in March 2011 as Senior Vice President of Health Policy and was named President and CEO of Health Care Enterprises in December 2013. She is responsible for the development of policy positions for the company and also oversees Centene's subsidiaries AcariaHealth, Casenet, LifeShare and USMM.
