Censys Wins Startup Weekly's 2021 Diverse & Inclusive Employer Award

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Censys was recently recognized by The Startup Weekly as a Diverse & Inclusive Employer in 2021. The Startup Weekly presented the Diverse & Inclusive Employer award to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to creating and maintaining equitable workplaces.

Censys believes that building a diverse and inclusive workforce must start with leadership. In the Spring of 2020, the Censys team created a D&I committee to spearhead several initiatives including diversity hiring training, the creation of several employee resource groups, and an annual calendar to celebrate and learn about all walks of life, including events like Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage & Pride Month, National Parents Day, and Women's Equality Day. The winners were selected by a panel of judges composed of top executives, founders, investors, and industry experts. The companies were evaluated based on a combination of employee survey results, proprietary fact sheets, online and offline reviews, and industry recognition.
