WASHINGTON, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Census Bureau will offer a two-day embargo for members of the media to view the latest information from the first-ever Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs.
Statistics available will include selected economic and demographic characteristics for businesses and business owners by gender, ethnicity, race and veteran status. This information will be available at the sector level for the nation, states and 50 largest metro areas. The Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs is a supplement to the Census Bureau's Survey of Business Owners, which is conducted every five years as part of the economic census.
These characteristics will be posted to the Census Bureau's embargo site at 10 a.m. (EDT), Tuesday, Aug. 30.
The embargoed information may not be published, broadcast or posted online until the public release date and time. The public release will be at 12:01 a.m. (EDT), Thursday, Sept. 1.
Furthermore, per the Census Bureau's embargo policy, wire and distribution services are prohibited from distributing embargoed news releases and data files to subscribers before the public release date and time.
