Cemig to Celebrate 10th Listing Anniversary in New York on October 6, 2011

NEW YORK, Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CEMIG (Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais) (NYSE: CIG;CIG.C) a listed company with securities traded on the stock exchanges of Sao Paulo, New York and Madrid, will host an investor luncheon in New York City on Thursday October 6, 2011 to mark the 10th anniversary of its ADR listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

Top management, including Chief Executive Officer Djalma Bastos de Morais and Chief Financial Officer Luiz Fernando Rolla, will present on the company's operational and financial results, as well as its strategic plan, and take questions from investors and analysts.
