Celtic Bank Hires Jerry Murphy as Vice President, Business Development

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Jerry Murphy has been hired as Vice President, Business Development in the SBA and Commercial Lending department.  Murphy will report to Executive Vice President, Craig Calafati.

During his 27-year career in the banking and finance industry, Murphy has served as a bank examiner, underwriter and business development officer.  Over the past 17 years, Murphy has originated over $300 million in commercial real estate loans nationally, with an emphasis on SBA, USDA and conventional financing.  Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Sacramento and will be based in Reno, Nevada.
