Cellular Dynamics International Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering
MADISON, Wis., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellular Dynamics International, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of fully functioning human cells in industrial quantities to precise specifications, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on June 3, 2013, on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The registration statement filed on June 3, 2013, represents the Company's initial public filing pursuant to the provisions of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act of 2012. The common stock is expected to be listed on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "ICEL." The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Cowen and Company, LLC and Leerink Swann LLC are acting as co-managers.
