Celistics Signs an Agreement with Renacer Cooperative for the Manufacturing of High-End Mobile Devices in Tierra de Fuego, Argentina

MIAMI, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Celistics, a global company specialized in the logistics and distribution of Solutions conceived for the Mobile and Technological industry announces the signing of a letter of intent with the "Renacer" Cooperative, for the assembling of cell phones and other wireless devices in the Patagonian district of Tierra de Fuego.

Due to this agreement, Celistics will provide legal, administrative and economic-financial structure necessary for the development of the project. On the other hand, the Cooperative will provide the facilities and the equipment as well as a team of over 140 workers who have been working at the plant, as well as those required to fulfill the appropriate volume of manufacturing production.

Renacer Cooperative is located in the South of Argentina, in the city of Ushuaia and they are responsible for the industrial development of the province added to its production of white goods among others, cell phones of leading manufacturers of the mobile industry manufactured for Celistics.

The plant has an area of 70.000 m2 used for the establishment of production lines, storage and logistic facilities, hence offering one of the largest production capacity in this Argentinean region.  The estimated production capacity could attain up to 3 million units yearly.  

This Business venture has received major support from the government authorities in Tierra de Fuego, the province's economic programs as well as the support of the Bank of Tierra de Fuego.
