Celebrity Motor Cars Names First Female Vice President
WHIPPANY, N.J., March 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Women in history have been celebrated since the turn of the century. Originally International Women's Day started back in 1911. Over time the celebration has evolved from Jimmy Carter in the 1970s naming it National Women's History Week, to today where March of each year is Women's History Month.
Tom Maoli, New Jersey Entrepreneur and CEO of Celebrity Motor Cars based out of Whippany, New Jersey, is celebrating Women's History Month with a Celebrity Motor Cars first. Celebrity has named Melanie Borden Vice President of Marketing.
Maoli states, "Traditionally an industry that has been mostly male dominated, I believe it's time to include more women in senior leadership positions."
"Myself and my leadership team have scouted out the best and most talented individuals in the automotive industry to work in the organization and I have put in place women in leadership at all of my dealerships which is truly unique in the automotive industry and it works."
"Ms. Borden has revolutionized our marketing department, by creating better social media coverage and better market penetration into our marketplace while saving the company millions of dollars. Sales and service at Celebrity are booming since Ms. Borden's taken over."
