Plastic Pollution Coalition is posting a new spot by a different celebrity video every day this week, leading up to the TEDxGreatPacificGarbagePatch event on Saturday, November 6.
Inspired by the REFUSE video featuring young people that recently went viral online, the brief spots feature the musicians and actors singing or talking about saying no to disposable plastic. Jack Johnson's spontaneous ditty is memorable, and Jackson Browne offers some suggested responses when offered a drink in a plastic cup.
Stay tuned to the PlasticPollutionCoalition or to their YouTube Channel as more celebrity videos are posted.
On Saturday, November 6, the TEDxGreatPacificGarbagePatch will bring the insidious devastation of plastic pollution to the forefront of the media debate.
