First Federal Lakewood Making a Donation to Plant Trees on Behalf of Customers that Convert to eStatements

LAKEWOOD, Ohio, April 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- First Federal Lakewood, the largest independent mutual bank headquartered in Ohio, is encouraging customers to go paperless in honor of Arbor Day on April 24. The bank will make a donation to plant one tree on behalf of each customer who converts from a paper-based account statement to an eStatement between April 24 and July 15, 2015. First Federal Lakewood is supporting the planting of trees through the Arbor Day Foundation.

By switching to free and secure eStatements for checking, savings and mortgage loan accounts, First Federal Lakewood customers avoid the clutter of traditional paper statements and enjoy the ease and convenience of the bank's Online Banking solutions.
