"Love is in the air this year at White Castle, as we celebrate this romantic holiday with a special dinner for our most dedicated Cravers," said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. "This is a wonderful event for many of our guests that have shared memorable moments at our restaurants, including those that have met or had their first date at a White Castle."
White Castle invites couples, families and groups of friends to make their reservations now for a special evening with new menu items, tableside service, unique photo opportunities and themed decorations. Returning this year will be the popular Cheesecake-on-a-Stick for dessert lovers and for those craving something more exotic – Shrimp Nibblers will be back on the menu. Cravers can share their love of White Castle and make this dinner a memorable moment by inviting family and friends to join them, but Cravers should hurry because reservations are limited.
"Every year, reservations fill up quickly at many locations," Richardson said. "We encourage Cravers everywhere to contact us early to ensure they get a table for this wonderful evening at their favorite 'Love Castle.'"
This fun alternative to a traditional dinner has been a popular staple for Cravers across the country for more than 20 years. This year, White Castle has expanded the dinner's hours because of the demand for reservations. Visit whitecastle.com to find information about the event hours and phone number to call to make reservations.
Cravers can invite their Valentine's Day sweethearts to dinner through the Slidergram app. This application will allow Cravers to select a card, upload a photo, write a personal love note or invitation for dinner, then send the invitation and share it over social media or email.
White Castle also will celebrate its commitment to the community with a fundraiser for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund from Jan. 31 through Feb. 13. Guests can purchase a Red Cross for $1, $3 or $5 at all White Castle restaurants. On Feb. 14, Red Cross President Gail McGovern will be attending Valentine's Day dinner at a local White Castle restaurant in New York City. Before dinner, White Castle will present McGovern with a check supporting the Red Cross.
