Celebrate International Day of Peace with the Center for Living Peace!
The Center for Living Peace, a non-profit peace education organization, will host a full day of FREE family-oriented classes and service opportunities that focus on living peace in honor of International Day of Peace.
IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Center for Living Peace invites the community to join them for a full day of FREE family-friendly events on Saturday, September 17 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in honor of International Day of Peace, a day where international organizations, individuals and countries come together to celebrate peace and make good happen around the world.

The Center for Living Peace will offer programs including Drumming, a DIY reusable sandwich bag class with The Ecology Center, yoga for kids, Qigong, Peace Vision Boards, Meditation, Compassionate Communication, a screening of the film The Day After Peace and service projects including Pinwheels for Peace and card quilts for children in need. All events are free and open to the public.
