PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cedexis, a leader in internet performance monitoring and optimization, today announced that Michael Gear and Ryan Windham have joined its leadership team as Vice President of North American Sales and Vice President of Product and Strategy respectively. Gear brings nearly twenty years of successful SaaS sales leadership experience to Cedexis and is adept at growing and managing teams that focus on large global enterprise customers. Windham, a seasoned Product and Strategy executive, brings nearly two decades of technology and strategic leadership experience helping companies accelerate growth.
Michael Gear has experience in scaling go-to-market and supporting organizations that meet the unique needs of cloud-based SaaS services. Gear began his career at DNS Worldwide a Domain Name System (DNS) services provider before moving to sales team management with Content Delivery Network (CDN) leader Akamai Technologies. He has held progressively more senior sales leadership roles including Executive Sales positions for web performance analytics pioneer Webtrends and for big data leader GoodData. At GoodData, Gear scaled the go-to-market sales and support organization, which rapidly scaled to tens of millions in under four years.

Previously, he led F5's corporate strategy team, driving the company's transition into high growth markets including SaaS, SDN/NFV, and cybersecurity. Before joining F5, Windham held several senior leadership positions at Websense, including Sr. Director of Product Development and Operations for Websense's SaaS platform. He later led Websense's Corporate Development & Strategy organization, responsible for M&A, strategic alliances, and new business ventures.
