Cedarville University joins The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference's Alliance for Hispanic Christian Education
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, also known as the Hispanic Evangelical Association, the nation's largest Christian Hispanic organization, announced that Cedarville University (www.cedarville.edu) has joined their Alliance for Hispanic Christian Education.
The NHCLC's (www.nhclc.org) Alliance for Hispanic Christian Education and their partnering Christian universities, including Cedarville University, believes that Christian schools and organizations can be the catalyst for a national Hispanic movement, facilitating an upward curve of academic success in the Hispanic community and ensuring that young Latinos can achieve the American dream.

Dr. William E. Brown became president of Cedarville University in June 2003. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida and holds a Master's of Theology and Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. As a nationally recognized expert in worldview, Brown has authored 3 books and more than 100 articles for journals, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. He is also the executive producer of re:View, a film series which helps students discern culture (www.re-films.com).
Most recently 53 excerpts from Brown's book "Where have All The Dreamers Gone?" appear in the new Impact Student Leadership Bible, a project that incorporates hundreds of articles, notes and study aids aimed at developing a balanced Christian worldview.
Dr. Brown holds memberships in organizations such as the Society of Christian Philosophers, the Evangelical Philosophical Society and the Evangelical Theological Society. He has also lectured in Europe, the former Soviet Union and South America. He and his wife Lynn Jones Brown have been married for 35 years and have two children, April and Alex.
