CECity's Registry Cloud Platform Achieves ONC HIT 2014 Edition Modular EHR Certification from ICSA Labs for All 64 Ambulatory Clinical Quality Measures
PITTSBURGH, Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CECity's Registry Cloud Platform (v4.0) has achieved ONC HIT 2014 Edition Modular EHR certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting Eligible Professionals with meeting the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
CECity's Registry Cloud Platform (v4.0) was certified on December 29, 2014 by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with applicable criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
"As more payors link payment to healthcare quality and patient outcomes, value-based programs have grown in number and complexity," said Andrew Rabin, Chief Technology Officer at CECity. "With this certification of all 64 ambulatory eCQMs, CECity is now able to further align quality measurement to help our customers and partners satisfy Meaningful Use for Stage 1 and 2, and multiple value-based reporting programs, with just a single data feed from their EHR."
This certification will enable CECity to offer an expanded set of quality measurement and reporting services for both partners, including EHRs, HIEs, QIOs, registries and GPOs, and customers, including provider networks, health systems, IDNs, ACOs and other emerging healthcare practices.
ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, offers vendor-neutral testing and certification. ONC HIT 2014 Edition Certification is granted to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals who wish to demonstrate Stage 2 Meaningful Use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.
CECity's Registry Cloud Platform's (v4.0) certification number is 140367R00. ONC HIT certification conferred by ICSA Labs does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
