CEC Celebrates National Reentry Week 2016
WEST CALDWELL, N.J., April 29, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Community Education Centers, Inc. (CEC) celebrates National Reentry Week with an array of events that promote awareness on reentry, demonstrating the company's commitment to reduce recidivism through reentry treatment programming. CEC's reentry treatment model focuses on increasing the chances of successful reentry into the community when released from a CEC facility. Staff and residents in CEC facilities nationwide are recognizing this important week with community service, family events, and conferences that acknowledge the relevance of reentry programming in helping offenders transition to the community.

National Reentry Week (April 24-30, 2016) was designated by the Department of Justice as part of the Obama Administration's commitment to strengthening the criminal justice system. National Reentry Week serves to increase awareness about reentry as a way to improve lives, reduce recidivism, and create secure communities.

"Bo" Robinson's Assessment and Treatment Center's mental health facility, helping at a local urban garden project, a Therapeutic Community graduation at Wyoming's Casper Reentry Center, reentry conference attendance in Illinois and Pennsylvania, Colorado's Tooley Hall family celebration and local community cleanups with residents from Philadelphia's Coleman Hall and Reading's ADAPPT.
