CEB Announces A New Program, Current Issues In Medical Marijuana Regulation
OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Continuing Education of the Bar • California (CEB) has announced an important new CLE program, Current Issues in Medical Marijuana Regulation, that brings together an outstanding panel of experts to discuss issues confronting attorneys in this fast-developing area of the law. The conference will be held in two locations, Los Angeles at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown on December 6 and San Francisco at the Hotel Nikko on December 7. The six-hour program will explore some of the issues confronting attorneys who represent municipalities, landlords, tenants, employers, dispensaries, growers, and individual users of medical marijuana. It will discuss the ins and outs of California's Compassionate Use Act and Medical Marijuana Program; federal efforts to enforce antidrug laws; how California land use regulations affect dispensaries and collectives; employers and disability and other entitlements; landlord and tenant issues; criminal issues, and more.
