NEW YORK, Nov. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- For their exemplary accomplishments in the field of medicine, CCRM New York fertility specialists Brian Levine, M.D., and Jaime Knopman, M.D., have been honored with Westchester County's Doctors of Distinction Award. The prestigious award ceremony, now in its fifth year, was held at the C.V. Rich Mansion in White Plains on October 24.
"The Doctors of Distinction awards program enables the Business Journal and co-sponsors to bestow much-deserved recognition upon those physicians, selected by a panel of experts, who go above and beyond the diagnosis," said Dee DelBello, publisher of the Business Journal. "The number of nominations this year was extraordinary, which made it a difficult process for the judges but illustrated how fortunate we are in Westchester to have the best physicians and health care. Congratulations to all doctors and especially the 2017 Doctors of Distinction."
For his research that has led to trail-blazing developments in how physicians address and treat male infertility, Dr. Levine received the "Cutting Edge" award. Dr. Levine is the founding partner and practice director of CCRM New York. He is a board-eligible reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist and is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Jamie Knopman and husband, Dr. Jared Knopman, of Weill Cornell Medicine, received the "All in the Family" award for family members who devote themselves to improving the lives of others.
