CCI Engages Inavisis, Inc. to Review its Five World-Class Patents
SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 12 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Competitive Companies, Inc. "CCI" (OTCBB: CCOP), www.cci-us.com announced today that it has engaged the services of Inavisis, Inc., a well-recognized and respected patent research specialist. Inavisis' President, Dr. Sam Khoury, has extensive experience in patent tree development utilized in patent valuations and potential infringement claim analysis. "We are very excited to have Dr. Khoury review our five patents included in the acquisition of Wytec International, Inc." This is one more step in implementing and valuing CCI's development of a 4G Wi-Fi network capable of delivering 100Mbps to the end user via "smart" cell phones and other mobile broadband devices remarks CEO, William Gray.
The International Telecommunication Union defines 4G mobile broadband as IMT-Advanced systems capable of service speeds up to100Mbps for high-mobility communication such as vehicle access and other high-mobility communication devices. CCI's patented Wytec technology is capable of delivering 4G+ speeds. CCI intends to offer the technology in both licensing and offloading agreements to major carriers as well as suburban and rural market service providers utilizing fixed or mobile wireless infrastructures. Offloading services have now become a key consideration to major carriers in delivering 4G services due to the continued difficulty in obtaining contiguous spectrum in the United States and has now been defined by the FCC as a "Spectrum Crises". CCI's patented technology is capable of developing what they have termed "Synthetic Contiguous Spectrum" consisting of binding multiple licensed and unlicensed frequencies together resulting in substantial increased throughput.
CCI, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Wireless Wisconsin LLC (www.wirelesswisconsin.net) expects to be offering its services utilizing its patented technology to select markets by March 15, 2012. The 4G Wi-Fi delivery involves integration into existing backhaul broadband networks (also known as "Macro Cell Networks") originally designed and included in the original and now enhanced Wytec patents. Currently the U.S. mobile broadband industry is estimated at over $30 billion in the U.S. and expected to grow to more than $70 billion by 2015.
