CHICAGO, June 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI), the well-respected, not-for-profit student exchange organization, is conducting its Going Greenheart Tour, a series of national environmental volunteer projects taking place in 10 cities across the country this summer. These events bring together J-1 Work & Travel participants, their employers, members of student outreach and green organizations, as well as the general public, to make a positive impact in the community where the exchange participants are working.

Projects range from a beach clean-up to volunteering at a recycling center and are scheduled to be held in the following areas:
- Brooklyn, NY: July 11-12
- Doswell, VA: July 25
- Put-in-Bay, OH: Early August
- Outer Banks, NC: August 16
- Wisconsin Dells, WI: September 7-9
- Door County, WI: September 9
- Estes Park, CO: September 11
