CBS Outdoor Donates Subway Advertising to Parkinson Alliance
NEW YORK, May 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CBS Outdoor helped sponsor the 17th annual Parkinson Unity Walk in New York's Central Park on April 16 by donating subway posters in nearby stations and ad space on subway trains. More than 100,000 people turned out for the annual walk, helping the organization raise $1.5 million to help fund medical research and a possible cure.
CBS Outdoor signage appeared on subways throughout NYC, including the heavily-trafficked B and F trains. The annual walk is dependent on media sponsors to help publicize the event, and thanks to sponsors like CBS the organization recorded record-breaking attendance for this year's fundraiser.
