CBC pleased with CRTC decision Re: CBCMusic.ca
TORONTO, Aug. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - CBC is pleased by the CRTC's decision # 2012-442 dismissing a complaint made against its digital music service CBCMusic.ca by a private competitor. Today's decision continues the CRTC's practice of encouraging innovation in the delivery of programming over digital platforms.

- Since launch, over 7.5 million hours of music have been streamed on CBCMusic.ca and the site has had over 8.7 million pageviews.
- The CBCMusic.ca app has been downloaded over 85,000 times.
