CBC Announces Expansion of Cosmetic Bootcamp University for 2011
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Cosmetic Bootcamp, the leaders in esthetic specialist training, announced that it is expanding its successful Cosmetic Bootcamp University program. The program, which trains residents and fellows in core esthetic specialties including dermatology, plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology and ophthalmology, provided educational grants and training to approximately 250 physicians in 2010. Training occurred in six seminars held in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Baltimore and Los Angeles.
According to Dr. Beer, the popularity of the program validates the concept, as well as the need to provide high level education. "We fulfill an unmet need in medical education," says Dr. Beer. Attendees at the meetings came from wide geographic areas, often driving or flying for hours to participate.
Due to the popularity of the program and support for it by the leaders in the esthetic medicine and surgery industry, the program will increase the number of seminars and locations in 2011.
The goal for 2011 is to train 300 physicians in Cosmetic Bootcamp University and another 200 at the main Cosmetic Bootcamp Meeting, held in July at the St Regis Hotel in Aspen.
