Cavitation Energy Systems Files Landmark Patent
Outlines first invention ever to make steam using cavitation
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cavitation Energy Systems (CES) proudly announces the filing of their provisional patent (69935). This patented & revolutionary system will "change everything".* The patent entitled "Cavitation Engine", describes the first commercially viable system capable of harnessing the power of cavitation to produce energy at a fraction of the cost of using conventional technology. The applications of this new energy system are limitless. "Engine" incorporates CES proprietary impact chamber design in a scalable steam generation system which generates superheat steam for less energy than fossil fueled boilers.
Cavitation, the process of vaporization, bubble generation and bubble implosion in a flowing liquid is used as the underlying process within the Cavitation Engine. The Cavitation Engine uses mechanical energy to convert water directory into steam via the process of cavitation and subsequent bubble collapse. Modified automotive fuel injectors are used to accelerate water saturated with cavitation nano-bubbles at a specially designed impact target. During the collision enormous hydraulic pressures collapse the bubbles within the injection volume. These vapor bubbles have the remarkable ability to focus intense energy. The resulting heat contributes to the creation of superheat steam.
CES is especially targeting the application of their "Engine" towards tri-generation, which involves the combined use of steam for power generation, heating and absorption cooling. They are also targeting maritime applications of a variation of the system that consumes seawater and produces explosive energy which can power rotary expander turbines.
"I am very excited to announce the filing of this provisional patent. We have worked for many years to perfect this. What we now have is workable, scalable and economically feasible. I believe that our system will revolutionize power generation and improve the quality of life, not only for the millions of people throughout countries where fossil fuels are either costly or non-existent, but also for the rest of the world, industrialized or not. Steam brought about the industrial revolution and I see our technology as forming the epicenter of a new industrial revolution."**
