Cato Networks Expands Sales Leadership As Global Momentum Grows for Secure, Cloud-Based SD-WAN
Nick Fan to Serve as Vice President of Sales for Americas, Nate Grinnell to Serve as Senior Director of Channel Sales
TEL AVIV, Israel, November 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Cato Networks, provider of the world's first secure, global SD-WAN, announced that Nick Fan and Nate Grinnell have joined its global sales leadership team. The appointments build on the accelerated adoption of Cato Cloud now serving hundreds of customers with global locations.
Nick will serve as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas and be responsible for driving Cato's sales and channel distribution efforts in the Americas, expanding the relationship with enterprise customers, and developing the community of master agents, sub-agents, and VARs. Cato enables partners to offer customers a cloud network service that converges SD-WAN, an affordable and global SLA-backed backbone, and firewall as a service (FWaaS).
Nick brings more than 15 years of sales leadership experience. Most recently, he served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Americas at Aryaka Networks. Prior to Aryaka, Nick served as the Regional Vice President of Western United States for Masergy Communications.
"Customers are increasingly looking to replace MPLS and security appliances with simpler and more integrated networking and security platforms. Partners can capitalize on this shift to help businesses reduce cost and complexity, and remain competitive in their markets," says Fan.
Nate will serve as the Senior Director of Channel Sales. He brings nearly a decade of experience in telecom and channel sales. Prior to joining Cato Networks, Nate served as the Director of Channel Sales at Aryaka, where he grew channel sales to more than 50 percent of North American sales.
"Cato is offering a next-generation, secure, global network service for the master agency channel at unbeatable price points. Agents will not only be able to increase revenue, but be positioned as thought leaders, strengthening their customer relationships, says Grinnell."
"We're pleased to welcome seasoned sales leaders like Nick and Nate to our team," says Alon Alter, Vice President of Worldwide Sales. "Our customer momentum is a clear indication that businesses are recognizing the importance of converging network and security disciplines into an integrated cloud service to reduce costs and offload their resource-constrained teams. Cato addresses, in a single solution, many of today's most significant IT challenges - finding an affordable MPLS alternative, reducing branch appliance footprint, integrating physical and cloud datacenters, optimizing access to Office 365 and other SaaS applications, and accelerating mobile access to corporate resources."
