Reaffirms 100-year-old mission to support local agencies
ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Catholic Charities USA, the 170-member national human services organization committed to cutting poverty in half by 2020–welcomed twelve new Diocesan Directors to its national network this week during the annual New Diocesan Directors Institute.

Senior members of Catholic Charities USA's staff as well as directors from across the country participated in the 2-day retreat designed to introduce new directors to the programs and services available from Catholic Charities USA's National Office. As a professional association and social justice movement, Catholic Charities USA supports local Catholic Charities agencies as they provide help and create hope for over 9 million people each year regardless of religious, social, or economic backgrounds.
