Catherine McCarthy Joins Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting as Managing Principal

LOS ANGELES, June 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, announces Catherine McCarthy, Ph.D., has joined as Managing Principal for Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting in the firm's Atlanta office.

Dr. McCarthy has more than fifteen years experience working with senior executives of global Fortune 500 companies, focusing on design and development of world-class leadership development programs.

Most recently, Dr. McCarthy was chief operating officer at The Energy Project, a leadership development consulting firm. Previously, she held leadership roles for several consulting firms.

Dr. McCarthy has co-authored Leading at the edge: Leadership lessons from the extraordinary saga of Shackleton's Antarctic Expedition (AMACOM, 2000). She also contributed to Be Excellent at Anything: The Four Keys to Transforming the Way We Work and Live (Free Press, May 2010) and Manage Energy Not Time: The Science of Stamina (Harvard Business Review, October 2007).
