Cathay Bank Appoints Edward K. Kim as Executive Vice President and Manager of the Greater Los Angeles Commercial Banking Group
LOS ANGELES, April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cathay Bank announced today the appointment of Mr. Edward K. Kim as Executive Vice President and Manager of the Greater Los Angeles Commercial Banking Group. Mr. Kim will report to Mr. Anthony M. Tang, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.

Mr. Kim joins Cathay Bank from U.S. Bank where he spent 10 years – most recently as Executive Vice President of the Greater Los Angeles Commercial Banking Group. He previously spent 14 years at Wells Fargo Bank, successfully growing the Long Beach Commercial Office during his last 8 years at that institution. Mr. Kim will be temporarily based at Cathay Bank's Corporate Center in El Monte until his Commercial Banking Group team is established in Los Angeles at 777 N. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
