Catfish Expo and Mentored Youth Fishing Opportunity Being Held in Allegheny County
HARRISBURG, Pa., July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is hosting a catfish expo and providing a mentored youth fishing opportunity at North Park Lake on Saturday July 28. The catfish expo provides participants with an opportunity learn more about fishing for catfish, catfish biology, and PFBC efforts to manage catfish.
Members of the media are invited to attend; PFBC staff will be available on-site for interviews.
When: Saturday July 28, 2018
- Expo hours are from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Catfish will be stocked by PFBC staff at approximately 4 p.m.
- Mentored Youth Fishing Opportunity begins at 6 pm.
Where: The Boathouse Portion of North Park Lake. The lake is located north of Pittsburgh at 10301 Pearce Mill Road, Allison Park, PA 15101.

About Mentored Youth Opportunities: The PFBC conducts Mentored Youth Fishing opportunities to provide youth anglers and their mentors with a special opportunity to fish. Properly licensed or permitted youth and mentors will have the opportunity to participate in the mentored youth summer catfish opportunity.
