Catastrophe Response Unit Adjusters (CRU Group) Selects Kespry's Industrial Drone Platform for Claims Operations
Relationship with Leading Claims Company Extends Kespry's Momentum in the Insurance Industry
MENLO PARK, Calif., July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kespry, the leading aerial intelligence platform provider, today announced that it has been selected by the CRU Group (Catastrophe Response Unit Adjusters) to provide its automated aerial intelligence solution to support the company's global insurance claims operations.
The announcement of the relationship with CRU comes on the heels of Kespry's recent announcement of the company's formal entrance into the insurance industry.
"Adding the Kespry drone platform to the advanced tools used by our claim adjusters keeps us ahead of the curve and reinforces our industry leadership," said Glenn Smith, Vice President, CRU Adjusters. "Kespry's drone technology further enhances how we handle and process claims, as well as underwriting elevations and pre-loss reporting. We have become synonymous with efficiency while maintaining a high level of accuracy, and our relationship with Kespry continues to support and demonstrate this commitment."
CRU Adjusters is setting up a new division with a team of adjusters focused on the initiative with Kespry. Smith will lead this team, all of whom are licensed pilots in both Canada and the US, as well as certified to fly Kespry drones and adjust claims. Smith's team is very experienced in damage recognition.
"We're very excited to be the first IA firm in Canada to be embracing this new drone technology from Kespry," said Kyle Winston, President, CRU Adjusters. "We'll also be rolling out this capability across our US operations and continuing to be among the first in the industry to bring new levels of efficiency and new types of data streams and intelligence to the insurance sector."
Founded in 2004, CRU specializes in the administration of catastrophe and daily claims, operating on an international scale in both the US and Canada.
"Kespry is committed to bringing stronger analytic tools and a 100x improvement to the status quo in industrial markets, such as roof inspection," said George Mathew, CEO and Chairman, Kespry. "CRU will be among the first companies in their space to provide their adjusters with a way to retool their skill sets and extend their careers deeply into this new digital era."
Kespry's field-to-finish out-of-the-box user experience is a result of its platform being the only fully integrated, fully automated aerial intelligence solution designed specifically for use in industrial applications, such as to improve the property and casualty roof claim cycle. Using Kespry's platform, CRU will have instant access to accurate data that is automatically processed and securely stored online for immediate use. Data captured by the Kespry industrial drone platform delivers high-resolution imagery with 1 mm per pixel resolution, and is capable of detecting granule loss and physical damage.
