Castle Harlan Promotes Murat T. Konuk and Patrick A. Zyla to Vice Presidents
NEW YORK, July 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Harlan, Inc., the New York based global middle market private equity firm, today announced it has promoted Murat T. Konuk and Patrick A. Zyla to vice presidents.
Mr. Konuk, a senior associate before his promotion, joined Castle Harlan in 2013. Mr. Zyla, an associate before his promotion, joined Castle Harlan in 2014. Both executives are involved in all aspects of the firm's investment activity including acquisitions, portfolio management, and realization of the firm's investments. Mr. Konuk and Mr. Zyla also work with company management teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives to help executives grow companies in conjunction with Castle Harlan's investments.
Before joining Castle Harlan, Mr. Konuk worked as an investment banking analyst in the Global Natural Resources Group at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on strategic advisory and equity and debt financing transactions. He graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis.
Prior to joining Castle Harlan, Mr. Zyla was an investment banking analyst in the Industrial and Diversified Services Group at RBC Capital Markets, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt financing transactions. Mr. Zyla graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
