Casio G-SHOCK Introduces Utility Color Additions To Men's Power Trainer Series
Latest Models Available in a Variety of Military-Inspired Colorways
DOVER, N.J., March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Casio G-SHOCK releases five new additions to its men's Power Trainer Series, consisting of the popular GBA800 and GBD800 silhouettes. The latest watches offer advanced fitness features and are available in light blue (GBA800UC-2A), beige (GBA800UC-5A), dark green (GBD800UC-3), light brown (GBD800UC-5), and dark grey (GBD800UC-8) colorways to match both casual and athletic wear.
Made for those seeking advanced functionality and timeless athletic style, all five models feature G-SHOCK's front button case design, as well as a Training Log 200 LAP Memory, Training Timer, Target Alarm and Double Super Illuminator LED light to guide you through late-night workouts. The two GBA800 models also feature a hand retract function that moves the analog hands out of the way of the digital display for unobstructed viewing and double Auto LED lights for easy viewing with a tilt-of-the-wrist in low light workout conditions.
All five models in the series come equipped with Bluetooth technology, compatible through the G-SHOCK Connected app. Employing new technology developed by Casio, the G-SHOCK Connected app also displays a graph which breaks down daily steps taken in each of five metabolic equivalent (MET) levels, from data based on the step count and walking pace. The app also displays exact time of day the wearer's calories were burned, while measuring MET levels, making it useful for interval training.
Each watch in the series comes equipped with G-SHOCK technology such as:
- 200M water resistance and shock resistance
- 5 daily alarms
- Dual Time
- 1/100th stopwatch
- Countdown / Interval timers
- Round timer
The GBA800UC-2A and GBA800UC-5A models will retail for $120 each, while the GBD800UC-3, GBD800UC-5, and GBD800UC-8 will retail for $99 each. All five will be available for purchase starting April at select G-SHOCK retailers including Macy's, G-SHOCK Soho Store, and gshock.com.
About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up." www.gshock.com
