DOVER, N.J., Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc. proudly partners with acclaimed New York based menswear Designer Robert Geller for the third consecutive New York Fashion Week: Men's show on February 2, 2016 in New York City.
Held at Skylight Clarkson Sq., the FW16 runway presentation featured a combination of Casio's most significant timepieces to date: the MT-G Metal Twisted G-SHOCK and the refined G-SHOCK G-STEEL. Both are designed for a dynamic man who enjoys the look and feel of a metal timepiece and the absolute toughness that is synonymous with G-SHOCK. This integration continues to bridge the gap between the highest-end menswear and the G-SHOCK timepieces.
The elite G-SHOCK MT-G featured in the show is the MTGS1000BD-1A Black IP Model. The G-STEEL timepieces include the GSTS110D-1A, as well as the new GST210D-9A and GST210D-1A.
The G-SHOCK MT-G Black IP is available for $1,000 USD while the G-STEEL models retail for $350 USD.
All models are available at select premium retailers, the G-Shock NYC Soho store, www.gshock.com/mtg and http://www.gshock.com/gsteel.
About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up". In 2013, G-SHOCK is celebrating their 30th anniversary.
