Casino Essentials and the State Bar of Nevada's Gaming Law Section Join Forces for AML Conference
LAS VEGAS, March 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The State Bar of Nevada's Gaming Law Section (GLS) merged it's Annual Bank Secrecy Act Conference with the National AML Title 31 Conference presented by Casino Essentials. The GLS continues to show its support toward AML compliance as a "Diamond Sponsor" of the Casino Essentials' National AML Title 31 Conference.
With this merger, Casino Essentials continues to show a strong commitment to the gaming industry's educational needs by consolidating the GLS's Bank Secrecy Act one-day symposium with Casino Essentials National Title 31 Conference. "Combining these conferences gives us an extraordinary opportunity to deliver a consistent message across the nation while attracting exceptional speakers and attendees in the gaming industry," said Mindy Letourneau, CEO of Casino Essentials. Jeff Rodefer, GLS Chairman echoed these comments and stated "the BSA Conference's goal was to not only provide education on our Federal laws and regulations regarding money laundering, but to also enhance the critical working relationships between the gaming industry and our regulators. The GLS is excited about its partnership with Casino Essentials and ongoing growth of this event."
Gaming industry professionals will no longer need to choose between these two conferences. By attending the Casino Essentials National Conference in August, attendees will receive a gaming specific education that includes executive, legal and operational perspectives.
In 2016, Casino Essentials' National AML conference attracted high profile speakers from FinCEN, IRS and DOJ. Nearly 400 gaming professionals and casino executives attended last year's conference. They expect attendance to increase to 700 this year. "By combining these two great conferences, attendees will hear from the best legal and compliance speakers in the gaming industry," said James Dowling, Managing Director of Dowling Advisory Group.
The 10th Annual National AML Conference will be held August 15-17, 2017 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The conference offers vendor sponsorship opportunities, early registration discounts, Nevada Bar Gaming Law Section and group discounts, and an opportunity for attendees to network and learn more about the regulatory requirements of AML in the gaming industry.
